    oh, for this, besides the wall, i also use 2 blankets under my spine and neck for protection. i resisted this for many years even in supported shoulderstand but really appreciate and recommend it now. esp on your wood floor.

    oh yes, def use props. i use the wall alot with this one.
    i hope we are talking about the same pose….its unsupported
    shoulderstand.
