Star Wars Celebration 2020 canceled

stop

Star Wars Celebration 2020 was officially canceled, a decision motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the event was not scheduled to take place in 2021, the convention will return in 2022, namely from 18 to 21 August. The announcement was made on the official Star Wars Celebration website, which detailed the steps to be followed for refunding tickets purchased to date.

The next scheduled event where the Star Wars brand is included is the D23 2021, Disney event that brings together all the franchises owned by the company.

However, it does not mean that there is no Star Wars news until that date. In October this year, fans of the franchise will have a double dose of entertainment, namely the second season of The Mandalorian and the recently announced Star Wars: Squadrons, which received the first trailer yesterday.
